For ceremonial occasions, local people put on Mongolian-style clothing, which consists of a long dress (deel) buttoned on the right side and bound with a belt for men. The traditional dress is believed to please the spirits during oboo worship. Posing in front of their oboo, the three Buryat worshippers wear a terlig, one of the pieces of traditional Buryat clothes, together with a belt and the cone-shaped hat called a yodang.
