Pedder Street View

A close look at the Pedder Street Clock Tower reveals a general lack of pretty details, other than a frieze in the shape of a garland below the clock. Historian Ernest Eitel, a German missionary to China, called the tower “ugly” [1].  Source: Hong Kong’s First web site (http://hongkongsfirst.blogspot.hk/2009/09/clock-tower.html).
